Bio Walk Series at More Mesa

This Spring, we’ve been lucky enough to explore More Mesa with some of Santa Barbara’s local naturalists and biologists.
Over the past two months, the More Mesa Preservation Coalition hosted a series of five guided walks, each led by a local biologist with expertise in the habitats and wildlife that make More Mesa special. From the coastal bluff-top to the seasonal wetlands and native scrub, these walks offered participants an up-close look at the incredible biodiversity found right here on More Mesa.
Across all five walks, more than 50 community members joined us on the trail. Each walk reminded us why More Mesa matters: it is a living landscape that connects people to nature and to each other.
As MMPC continues its campaign to permanently protect More Mesa’s remaining 265 acres, these walks stand as a testament to how much this land is loved.
Stay tuned for more walks and events as we work together to Save More Mesa.
